Euscera (Emigrant-Elcantara/Pamir)

Euscera5988

One of the jewels at Valley Oak as well as a daughter of Valley Oaks king – Emigrant (Ararat-Emigrantka/Eukaliptus). This is the  beautiful Euscera – a classical Polish beauty with the largest, black eyes imaginable.

Euscera was bred by Michalów State Stud in 1999. Her dam Elcantara is a daughter of the Polish National Champion Stallion and the Race Horse of the Year Pamir (Probat-Parma/Aswan). Pamir was the winner of the Derby, Bandos and Sambor Stakes. He was a great sire of both show Champions and great race horses, including Derby winners Gafal (out of Gratka/Arbil), Batyskaf (out of Bajeczka/Bandos) and Gepard (out of Giza/Pepton), Oaks winners Elcanta (out of Estepona/Pepton), Emanuela (out of Emetyka/Europejczyk) and Wiatka (out of Weronique/Engar) and Criterium Stakes winners Batyskaf and Gepard. Among his best show Champions are the stallion Alt (out of Alejka/Palas) and Emilda (out of Emanacja/Eukaliptus). Elcantara´s dam was Erotyka (Eufrat-Eroica), the dam of 1992 Polish National Champion Stallion and European Champion Stallion Eldon (by Penitent). Elcantara was sold to Al Zobair Stud at the Pride of Poland auction in 2001. She was in foal to Ekstern (Monogramm-Ernestyna/Piechur) and produced the filly Amira Al Zobair in 2002.

Euscera was raced for 1 season with 7 starts (1-1-1-2). Back at Michalów Euscera was bred to Ekstern in 2003 and produced a colt – Eustis – in 2004. Euscera has been a very consistent and great producer with one foal every year at Michalów – 3 colts (Eustis, Euclid by Galba and Euzan by Galba) and 3 fillies (Etruza by Piber, Ezira by Piruet and Eustachia by QR Marc). With the pretty filly Eustachia retained by Michalów Euscera was offered as Lot 6 in the 2009 Pride of Poland auction and she was sold to Manny Vierra of Valley Oaks Arabians – the proud owner of her sire Emigrant.

Euscera was in foal to Ekstern and produced a filly, Empress VO, in 2010. She had never been shown and made her debut in the show-ring the same year. Euscera was in hard competition US National Top Ten!

At Michalów her daughter Eustachia had her first foal in 2014, the grey filly Eunomia by 2013 Polish National Champion Stallion El Omari (Enzo-Embra/Monogramm). On the 25th of January she foaled a colt by the US, Canadian and Brazilian National Champion Vitorio TO (DA Valentino-Sol Natique/Solstice).

Euscera has a great home at the wonderful Valley Oak together with other Polish jewels, if you never visited Valley Oak I highly recommend a visit to this Horse Heaven to see Euscera and her legendary sire Emigrant – a piece of Polish history.
